As we continue to grow, we are building on our proud legacy of technical expertise and innovation.Joining Rockwell means becoming a trusted partner to the business, leading a high-performing HR team and helping to shape an environment where our people can thrive. About the RoleThe HR Manager is a critical leadership role within Rockwell, reporting to the Finance Director, and working closely with the Operations Director and the Senior Leadership Team.You will oversee all HR operations and lead a focused team across recruitment, development, systems, and employee experience, while supporting employee relations, ensuring compliance, and helping to drive Rockwell’s ongoing growth.Key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:Leadership & StrategySet the direction and priorities of the HR function in line with business needs.Lead, coach, and develop the HR team to deliver best-in-class HR services.Act as a trusted advisor to senior management on workforce planning, talent development, and people-focused initiatives.Provide regular HR metrics and workforce reports to the Senior Leadership Team to support effective decision-making.HR OperationsOversee the delivery of all core HR services, including recruitment, onboarding, learning and development, performance management, HRIS management, employee engagement, compensation and benefits, employee relations, compliance, and offboarding.Lead the ongoing review and development of HR policies, procedures, and processes to align with best practice, legal requirements, and business needs.Lead property management activities for 10 company-managed rental properties, coordinating leases, maintenance, and tenant relations.Employee RelationsServe as the primary escalation point for complex or high-risk employee relations matters, such as disciplinary processes, grievance cases, and capability challenges.Provide practical, people-centred advice to employees and managers across a wide range of HR issues.Proactively build trust and support early resolution of employee concerns while ensuring compliance with policies and employment law.Compliance & Risk ManagementEnsure HR practices comply with all relevant employment legislation, Sectoral Employment Orders (SEO's), industry pay rates, and applicable regulationsLiaise with client-appointed auditors on employment compliance audits, ensuring adherence to employment standards and reporting requirements.Support organisational change projects, focusing on workforce planning, role transitions, and performance improvement processes.Manage GDPR compliance for employee data within the HR function.About YouThe ideal candidate will have proven experience in HR leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work on their own initiative while contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team.You Will:Hold a bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field (a Master’s degree and/or an additional legal qualification is advantageous).Hold current CIPD membership.Have a minimum of 5 years’ broad HR experience, including 2+ years in a HR Manager, or similar leadership role.Demonstrate a strong track record of managing employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary processes, grievance cases, and capability issues.Possess an in-depth understanding of Irish labour law, employment regulations, and HR compliance standards.Show proven leadership and team development skills, with experience coaching and supporting HR team members.Exhibit excellent negotiation, conflict management, and relationship-building skills across all levels of the organisation.Be highly organised with strong attention to detail, effective prioritisation skills, and a commitment to accuracy and follow-through.Be proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable managing the administrative aspects of HR operations.Demonstrate the ability to balance strategic HR leadership with hands-on operational delivery in a dynamic, growing environment.Why Join Rockwell?Professional Development OpportunitiesFree Onsite ParkingBonusPension SupportBike-to-Work SchemeWellbeing ProgrammeCompetitive SalaryHands-on Training and DevelopmentRockwell is an equal opportunities employer.See more about us here: www.rockwell.ie
