Position: Hotel Receptionist (Full-Time Permanent)Location: Rochestown Lodge Hotel, Dún Laoghaire, County Dublin Rochestown Lodge Hotel are looking for an experienced Hotel Receptionist to work as part of our wonderful team. Our HotelRochestown Lodge Hotel is ideally located on the fringe of Dun Laoghaire town and short distance to Dublin city centre. The modern three star hotel offers 900 spacious guest rooms, bar restaurant and a selection of meeting rooms. Facilities in the hotel include a 15 metre deck level swimming pool, gym and Spa.The RoleAlways there to lend a helping hand, the receptionist can leave the best of impressions on our guests through friendly and helpful interactions. The receptionist role can also be one of the most rewarding and enjoyable roles that people can bring their own touch to. We are looking for someone who is a professional and polished individual with excellent communication and presentation skills. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years hotel reception experience. You will demonstrate excellent customer service as well as the initiative required to multi-task in this busy environment. This role is made for you to make it your own.Responsibilities will include: To greet guests in a warm, friendly mannerTo check in and out guests efficiently and quicklyAnswer switchboard and telephone in a friendly, professional manner, transferring calls to correct extensions and dealing with requestsTo take reservations correctly, noting any special requestsTo promote and sell the Hotel's facilities at all timesTo ensure billing is correctly done to the agreed standardsTo deal with any guest complaints, queries, and suggestions quickly and efficiently.To handle all departmental floats and safe deposits, maintaining high levels of securityTo adhere to all Company policies including Customer Care, Health & Safety, Fire Safety, Cash Handling etcEffective communication with other employees to ensure the day-to-day business runs smoothly  Ideally we are looking for a candidate who will: Previous experience working within a hotel receptionDemonstrate strong organisational skills and excellent customer service etiquette.Be professional in approach and capable of working on your own initiative This is a full time permanent position, the nature of the industry means that this role will include a variety of shift & weekend work. Why Work With Us? We are a team of talented professionals who work well together and we are a fun team to work with.
