HESS Plants Machine Operators are tasked with operation of the machine to produce Kilsaran’s range paving products in a safe and efficient mannerResponsibilities:· Set up Hess machine to manufacture products in a safe and efficient manner· Understand production plan· Achieve production targets and achieve efficient cycle times· Understand mix designs and run times· Be able to carry out mould changes successfully and efficiently · Carry out quality checks and record data· Identify and report maintenance issues· Understanding the importance of manufacturing quality products in line with company standards.· Problem solving in terms of maintenance / quality issues· Safely lock out and Isolate machine during cleaning / maintenance· Understanding and knowledge of Hess Machine and how to program settings · Understanding and knowledge of conveyors· Inspect and Quality control of Products to ensure they meet required standard and specification. Record the data. · Carry out basic adjustments and routine maintenance on machine on completion of training and as deemed competent by supervisor / manager. · Identify and report maintenance issues Skills Required:· Problem solving in terms of maintenance / quality issues· Actively participate in Continuous Improvement meetings or Safety meetings as required· Ability to work within a team environment.What You Get:Kilsaran is an organization that believes that our people are our greatest strength, and our success is down to the dedication and enthusiasm of our team.
