We have the most advanced diagnostic imaging equipment available today, full Cardiological facilities including a Cardiac Catheterisation Suite and Clinical Laboratory services.About the roleAs a key member of the frontline team, the Health Care Assistant assists in the delivery of individualized patient care under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. The role assists in the smooth running of the department and the provision of quality patient care. The main duties for this role are:Receive patients to the clinical area with courtesyOrient new patients to the clinical area and hospital environmentCheck that each patient bay has all the appropriate and required equipment stored correctlyReceive patients to the clinical area with courtesy.Support patients with hygiene, nutrition, mobilisation needs as required and directed.Keep clinical areas and waiting areas clean and tidy.About youRequirements for the ideal candidate:Leaving Certificate or equivalentYou must have completed all 8 modules of your QQI level 5 in HealthcareAt least one year relevant experienceCommunication & Interpersonal skillsAbility to work under pressureFlexible approach to workPatient CentredTeamworkWhy work at the Hermitage Clinic?The Hermitage Clinic are passionate about our people and believe in their development and growth.
