You’ll work set hours with the same clients each week — giving you the consistency, stability, and support you need to thrive. What You'll Be DoingYou’ll deliver one-to-one care in the client’s own home, including:Personal care (washing, toileting, dressing)Light meal preparation and basic household tasksFriendly conversation and emotional supportHelping with mobility and routine activitiesYou won’t be left to figure things out on your own — we provide full training and day-to-day support from a responsive local team. Hours That Work Around YouWe offer flexible schedules, along with part-time and full-time options.The core hours we’re looking to cover include:Morning shifts: 8am–12 noonEvening shifts: 4pm–8pmEvery second weekendYou’ll agree your shift pattern when you join — and stick with it week to week. What We OfferWe value your time, effort and experience. That’s why we offer enhanced pay rates:€13.50/hour – For those newly qualified in QQI Care Skills & Care of the Elderly€14.00–€14.50/hour – With experience and the two required QQI modules€15.00/hour – With full QQI Level 5 (all 8 modules) and relevant experiencePlus:Paid mileage10 hours of paid trainingA genuinely supportive team that checks in regularlyOngoing learning and development opportunities Not Qualified Yet?If you have experience (such as caring for a loved one) but no formal training, we offer heavily subsidised QQI courses in Care Skills and Care of the Elderly.Training must be completed before starting, and we’ll guide you through it. Do You Fit This Role?We’re looking for people who are:Compassionate and respectfulDependable and professionalComfortable working independently in clients' homes, with the reassurance of team support when needed You’ll Need:To live in or near GoreyA full driving licence and your own vehicleQQI Care Skills and Care of the Elderly — or willingness to complete these before starting “Will I be valued?
