Head of Tendering & Pre-ConstructionKnebworthPermanent, full-time Competitive salary plus benefits  The role will head up the Utility Line’s Tendering & Pre-Construction departments, working on full turnkey electrical projects throughout the UK. In this role you will lead the Tendering and Pre-Construction Teams throughout the initial stages of projects from initial enquiries in all the way through to handover at Pre-Construction. Recently acquired by Adler & Allan, our focus for 24-25 is growth and market leadership with a focus always on a high standard of customer service. More about the role: TenderingSupport the team with the scope of new project enquiriesDrive business development initiatives to facilitate sustainable revenue growthSupport the Tendering Manager by providing clear direction, guidance and set expectations for the relevant individual and wider estimating teamSupport the Managing Director in defining target markets, identifying and qualifying new business opportunitiesEnsure existing leads and outstanding tenders are followed up by the Bid Team and act as support if/when required to make adjustments to win new projectsEnsure that the output of new tenders are always managed in a timely mannerEnsure the timely handover of won projects to the Pre-Construction teams Pre-ConstructionAct as a contact with our customers to handle all escalated issues relating to pre-construction and receiving feedback on our performance toEnsure that handovers from the Pre-Construction team to the Construction teams are completed on time and in line with client expectationsProvide technical support to Pre-Construction team and others who may require OverallDeliver supportive business communication through advice, review, leadership and direct contribution to management team meetings, briefing and correspondenceIdentify and implement performance improvement processesMonthly and ad-hoc reporting on your business functionsForecast project delivery timescales to support operational delivery planning  About you: Do you have proven experience in a senior tendering/preconstruction role?Do you possess strong commercial acumen and understanding of contract types and procurement routes?Then we would like to hear from you. We are seeking an experienced head of Tendering and Pre construction to lead our tendering strategy, oversee bid management and ensure seamless collaboration within our different teams.Paragraph  About us: At Adler and Allan Group, we're not just a company – we're environmental champions committed to protecting our planet while helping businesses thrive.
