A five-star career awaits at Carton House.We invite you to begin your next career chapter at Carton House – a storied and dynamic five-star resort destination and the first and only member of the Fairmont Hotel collection in Ireland.Nurturing a working environment built on fairness, inclusivity, and growth for all team members, we deliver the highest standard of service, turning moments into memories for all of our guests.We are currently hiring for a Guest Relations Manager to join our Front Office team at Carton House.Key Responsibilities:Work closely with all departments within the hotel, to ensure guest expectations are met during their stay.Point of contact for all loyalty guests and VIP’s throughout their stay. Handle online reviews, control feedback and presence on all platforms.Ensure a high standard of service and attention to detail within the department.Take responsibility for guest experiences that have negatively been impacted and turn them into memorable moments.Assist Front Office Manager to develop a strong team through consistent effective leadership, training and operational management. Ensure the team are trained to the LQA standards required.Maintain continuous contact with hotel guest to ensure that any problem or complain are handle efficiently & courteously.Ensure the team follow the departmental grooming standards.Clearly demonstrate to guests and colleagues a commitment to service excellence through the effective implementation and delivery of Fairmont Hotels & Resorts Standards at all times.Carry out Duty Manager Shifts as required, ensuring all departments are operating smoothly, providing assistance where required. The successful candidate will have:A real understanding of hotel operations.Previous experience in 5 star hotels is desirable. Experience of managing a large team within the hospitality industry. Excellent communication skills with excellent spoken & written English.Strong team working skills and able to work effectively and both manage and contribute to a team.A structured and organized approach to work planning.Ability to work on own initiative.Why work for Carton House?To be part of Accor’s large global hospitality network. Employee benefit card offering discounted rates in Accor Hotels worldwide.Learning and development opportunities. Refer a friend bonus.Employee Assistance Programme.Strong team focus and team atmosphere.Meals and uniform are provided.Free parking.Team-building and social events organised throughout the year in line with our successful Awards and Recognition Scheme.Training is provided both on-the-job and through organised training seminars with both internal and external trainers.
