In 2024, we entered an exciting new chapter following our acquisition by Goldman Sachs, enabling rapid organic growth and strategic acquisitions, with three successful integrations already completed.More about the role:We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Group Senior Management Accountant to strengthen our financial control environment and partner with central departments and group businesses. You’ll play a key role in producing monthly balance sheet reconciliations, statutory accounts, and supporting strategic financial initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and present monthly balance sheet reconciliations and reviewsAssist in producing the Monthly Board Pack and statutory accounts for all group entitiesReconcile intercompany accounts and perform VAT returnsManage capital expenditure reporting and the fixed asset registerAnalyse exceptional costs and maintain tax-sensitive nominal account analysisPartner with central overhead depots to ensure accurate month-end performanceReview operating expenses including rent, rates, and insuranceEnsure completeness of provisions and accrualsMaintain high standards in monthly group reporting and deadlinesDevelop and document accounting processes and controlsOversee credit card processes and support ad hoc financial projectsProvide guidance and support to junior finance staffWhat Success Looks LikeTimely and accurate financial reportingProactive problem-solving and continuous improvementEffective collaboration across departments and group businessesCompliance with financial controls and statutory deadlinesSeamless integration of acquired businesses More about you:Qualified Accountant (CIMA or ACCA) or actively working towards qualificationExperience in a similar role, ideally within industrial services or multi-site environmentsStrong Excel skills and familiarity with Microsoft OfficeKnowledge of FocalPoint and/or Access Dimensions is a plusAt Adler and Allan Group, we're not just a company – we're environmental champions committed to protecting our planet while helping businesses thrive.
