Graduate Consultant - Water Quality Tunbridge Wells (Kent) Permanent - 35 hoursSalary - Up to £26,000Take the leap and dive into a new career as a Graduate Consultant - Water Quality and make a difference! Your main focus will be to attend and investigate water pollution incidents; undertake field-based monitoring and collect environmental samples for laboratory analysis across the Southern Water region.  35 hours per week; 9am until 5pm, five days per week (Monday to Friday), alongside a requirement to be on a standby rota, 1 week in 6, for weekend/public holiday and evening work. Overtime paid for instructed works during standby periods, all this will be planned in advance for you!More details about the role:Attending and investigating water pollution incidents across the Southern Water regionCompleting field monitoring works including water quality measurements and samplingCompleting data entry after collecting data in the fieldTechnical report writing in response to water pollution incidents, time limited in accordance with client requirementsMaintaining all equipment needed for site and maintain cleanliness of vehicle to a high standard and inform line manager if new equipment is neededProviding accurate and timely information to line managementAbout you:Degree in a Biological or Environmental Sciences disciplineUnderstanding of water chemistry and the indicative parametersA full clean UK driving licenceExperience in scientific fieldwork, and an enthusiasm for working outdoors in all weathersCompetent user of Microsoft Outlook, Excel & WordExcellent organisational and time-management skillsAnalytical and numerical skills with the ability to pay close attention to detailAble to work independently and as part of a team following precise protocolsAt Adler and Allan Group, we're not just a company – we're environmental champions committed to protecting our planet while helping businesses thrive.
