Job Title: Gas EngineerLocation: ATC Pirbright, Camberley, Surrey, UKSalary: Competitive + BenefitsJob Type: Fulltime permanentStart Date: ASAP upon successful completion of clearance documentation Company DescriptionBJF Group is a leading multidiscipline Main Contractor based across the UK, specialising in delivering highquality construction projects across various sectors priding ourselves of our reputation for excellence and attention to detail.Within our Facilities Management division, the Southeast Core team plays a crucial role in the daytoday delivery of planned minor works across a diverse range of properties and systems within our client's sites.If you have ambitions of playing a key part in driving our business forwards, then we want you to join us at an exciting time of development and growth to realise your full potential.PositionAs part of our continued growth, our Southeast Core facilities management team are looking to appoint an experienced and professional Gas Engineer to perform various reactive and preventative traderelated duties (listed below) to enable BJF Group to meet and exceed its contractual obligations with its clients across multiple estates of varying ages and building types.Further responsibilities of the role include:To carry out installation and maintenance of relevant trade in domestic and commercial buildingsGeneral plumbing duties, repair works and minor instillations of low temperature hot water and heating systemsTo carry out and complete all works to a high standard, in a competent manner and to leave the site of works in a clean and tidy conditionTo liaise with other staff and external contractors in a positive and cooperative manner and as necessary to ensure the timely and proper completion of works to support reasonable operational expectationsTo ensure appropriate and timely completion of tasks, followed by submission of all relevant paperwork, job/time sheets and any necessary certification accordinglyHealth, Safety and Quality Considerations:To act in the best interests of BJF when on site and dealing with ClientsTo always work in a safe manner and to a highstandard, in line with best working practicesUnderstand your responsibility for the health, safety and wellbeing of your team and the wider group, whilst promoting a positive health and safety culture throughoutPromote and live BJF TEAMS valuesRequirementsTo be considered for the role, you will need to demonstrate a mix of the following:Good standard educationTrade related Qualification EssentialCCN1 (or COCDN1), COCN1 (or CODNCO1), CIGA1, CDGA1LLCCCN1, CCLP1Experience carrying out trade related maintenance, installation and fault findsExperience of planned preventative maintenance and reactive works / tasks completed within KPI’s#HP
