Carraig Donn is continuing to grow year on year, with an exciting 10-year expansion plan and a never-standing-still approach.Garment Technologist role:To support buying and design teams through all stages of product development, from design to manufacture. You will carry out a range of technical, investigative, and quality control work to ensure the end product performs to specification. This position will be based onsite in our Buncrana buying office, Co. Donegal. Responsibilities of this Garment Technologist job:·       Focus on assessing clothing for quality and fit for private label collections.·       Manage the Tech Pack process - Overseeing all Tech Pack development to ensure they meet design vision, concept, and fit expectations.·       Responsible for sending out all Tech Packs and all relevant information to suppliers.·       Oversee fit measurement and record all changes to incorporate in the final development through production.·       Manage the creation of the line sheet from the start of product design to the release date.·       Responsible for measuring and providing constructive feedback on size sets.·       Manage all tracking of fit during development, reporting findings to internal teams and supplier through final production.·       Partner with our buyers on product designs to ensure fit, balance, and aesthetics are realised during the pre-production process.·       Responsible for and ensure specs are clearly communicated within deadlines.·       Responsible for follow-up communication regarding construction and fit issues throughout the design process.·       Manage workload based on calendar due dates and production deadlines.·       Make return analyses at supplier and article level and conduct seasonal evaluations.Experience required for this Garment Technologist job:·       Apparel or technical education in fashion, textiles or similar.·       Minimum 3+ years of expertise in the apparel industry ·       Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel ·       Excellent knowledge of Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.·       Knowledge in fabrications, sewing techniques, trims, and fabric construction.·       Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy.·       Ability to analyse workload and plan accordingly.·       Exceptional follow-up skills. What We Offer:·       Competitive Compensation Package: We value your expertise and contribution.
