Full & Part-time - Leisure Centre Attendant/Swim Teacher/Fitness Trainer

Talbot Hotel Cork, part of the Talbot Collection are currently recruiting for a Full & Part-time Leisure Centre Attendant/Swim Teacher/Fitness Trainer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the Leisure Centre and delivering well-organised swim classes in line with 4-star requirements. This role requires a strong focus on providing exceptional service to members and guests, while ensuring a safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment. Come experience it for yourself and join our team.  Duties will include:Conducting Programmes and AssessmentsTeaching Fitness ClassesTeaching swimming lessonsSupervise swimming pool areaMeet highest standard of safetyPresent professional appearance and attitude alwaysMaintain a high standard of customer serviceAct immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of emergencyAll other duties as assigned and appropriateResponsible for the safety of the participants in their own classInstructs and evaluates students participating in swim lessonsPrepare for swim lesson programs (i.e. facilities, equipment, lifeguard).Supervise, organize, and execute swim lessons, including assigning children to levels, The successful candidate will have:Friendly and professional work attitude;Assistant or Full WSI , Swim Ireland Swim Teacher of equivalent;Fluent English essential - written and spoken;Must be available to work variable shifts;Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills;Reps Ireland group fitness instructor or relevant qualification.Previous experience in a similar role would be a distinct advantage. The role involves weekend work, so flexibility is required. Some of the benefits of joining the team:One of the Best Places to Work in Hospitality 2024 as awarded by the Great Place WorkJoin a company and culture that put their team firstTraining and Development Opportunities - we invest in our peopleBeing part of a progressive & growing company.Contributory company pension scheme.
