You will be operating in a diverse environment and may need to adapt your communications to your audience.Do you enjoy working collaboratively as a team? About the roleWith this corporate client, you’ll welcome guests, visitors and contractors arriving into the building. Your eye for detail will help you notice when something isn’t as it should be. Expect to perform a variety of routine and non-routine duties access control, CCTV monitoring, patrols and alarm event monitoring. You will work closely with your team and the Provincial management. This role is based in an award-winning Business Park in Dublin 24. You will work on average 42 hours per week.The shift pattern is 07:00- 19:00 with an expectation of flexibility. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  Ensuring all visitors and employees are greeted and welcomed to the site.Assisting visitors to ensure that they are welcomed and assisted and directed to their host in line with the client SOPs.Track temporary badges and check them in and out as per established procedure.Record and maintain any needed information on contractors and visitors.Assisting employees who are not adhering to access policies.Being a first point of contact and being fully knowledgeable on the geography of the building and the locality and be able to assist with any queries in this area.Be proficient in answering phones, emails, IT systems, CCTV, alarms, access control systems and car park management.Accurately record relevant information for inclusion in daily/weekly/monthly reports as required.Provide emergency response in a crisis, ensuring the safety of all the client employees and visitors.To ensure the safety and security of all site personnel and their property.To ensure the protection of all client property, premises, and equipment.Create, issue and monitor temporary employee, contractor and visitor badges as required.Perform a variety of routine and non-routine security and receptionist duties associated with access control, CCTV, door alarm and event monitoring using established policies and procedures.Report all unusual circumstances and situations and respond, as necessary.Identify and act upon all suspicious activity or potential criminal activity, retaining full control until emergency services arrive.Escalate any issue by communicating these to Provincial management.Communicate with team members at all times and be able to highlight operational issues immediately in line with SOP’s.To ensure a detailed knowledge and understanding of both Provincial and client Post Orders and Site Operating Procedures and ensure adherence to same at all times.Take part in carrying out risk assessments, running fire drills, maintenance of life safety systems and being proactive regarding updating procedures when requested.Auditing, compliance and liaising with the Operations Manager on audit requirements.Engage with all training as required.To be accountable for all actions during their tourTo remain vigilant at all times during their tour.To perform various security or safety related activities when directed by management.Carry out patrols are per security requirements.Assist management as needed with special projects.Ensure that all incidents are reported immediately and that all necessary actions are taken.Report all unusual circumstances and situations and respond, as necessary.To report directly to Provincial Management.
