Townhouse on the Green, a luxe boutique townhouse centrally located in the city centre overlooking St Stephens Green is currently looking for a Front of House Manager.The main focus of the role is to oversee Front Office operations to provide an outstanding guest experience and exceed expectations as well co-ordinate enquiries and reservations for Floritz and Cellar 22.Key responsibilities:Ensure that all visitors to the Townhouse are greeted with a friendly welcome and offered the highest standards of guest care and customer satisfaction throughout their stay.Control daily business activities within the Townhouse ensuring that all VIPs, guests and groups are looked after.Ensure that the daily operations of the department run efficiently to a very high standard as expected of a high end townhouse to the complete satisfaction of guests at all times.Maximise all available sales opportunities by actively upselling the guest rooms, restaurant and wine bar.Ensure that allocation of rooms is conducted in a controlled and effective manner.Effectively communicate with all other Departments with specific attention to Reservations, Sales, Finance, HR, Accommodation, Kitchen, Restaurant & Wine Bar.Maintain high standards of communication within the Front Office Department through regular team meetings .Manage all aspects of invoicing, security, credit control and cash handling, ensuring procedures are followed at all times .Ensure the highest standards of presentation and cleanliness of the Front Desk and foyer is maintained at all times.Handle and resolve customer complaints, following through to ensure the highest levels of guest satisfaction.The ideal candidate will have:held a similar or supervisory role in a similar businessstrong communication skills both written and verbala natural ability to ensure that each guest in the Townhouse is made to feel welcomed and that their expectations are exceededshould be familiar with OpenTableprevious experience of Opera reservations system is preferredexceptional selling skills both upselling and cross sellingattention to detailpositive attitude to workenjoyment in the sense of empowerment and a want to improvethe ability to work shifts and weekendsBenefits:Focus on development & progression, Bike to Work, Travel Tax Incentives, discounted city centre car parking, discounts on hotel accommodation, discounted health insurance, uniforms provided, staff food, employee assistance programme/wellbeing support, reward programmes such as long service awards and staff recognition and incentives including talent referral.
