Benefits: •    £12.70 per hour.•    23 days holiday + 7 Bank Holidays per year + your birthday off.•    Company pension scheme.•    Become part of a supportive family run business.•    Staff discount.•    Excellent career progression opportunities.Role:In this role you will work as part of a team picking and assembling loads for delivery and collection, working from a picking list which requires attention to detail to ensure accuracy.You will also load our vehicles and unload supplier vehicles, ensuring goods match the paperwork, carrying this out in a safe and efficient manner.This role involves working with the team to safeguard stock from damage and loss, and managing stock rotation of products with a limited shelf life.You will adhere to all company policies and procedures, making a positive contribution to the team, giving constructive input to help maintain the best customer service level possible.Carrying out any reasonable request from the Management Team.Shift pattern:08:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday & 08:00 to 12:00 Saturday (1 in 3 rota).At times you will be required to work alternative shift patterns to meet the business needs.Required skills:Counterbalance forklift license is essential. Training for other FLT's will be given. Experience in a builders' merchants environment is preferred. A positive and supportive approach.A flexible can-do mindset.Good communication skills.Self-motivated with the ability to work on own initiative.Ability to work as part of a team making a positive contribution.Numerate with excellent attention to detail.A reasonable degree of physical fitness is required for the role as it involves manual handling.
