With over 700 employees from over 50 countries worldwide, Hodson Bay Group is committed to creating a positive working environment where our people feel they are a valued part of a team delivering excellent service to our guests.Hodson Bay Hotel has been recently certified as a Great Place to Work®, and we have also received the 'Excellent Employer 2024' Award from Failte Ireland Employer Excellence.If your passion is Food and Beverage, then this senior management role is for you!Responsible to: General Manager/Managing DirectorJob Purpose:To ensure the smooth and efficient running of the food & beverage operations and to promote a positive image to both customer and colleagues in relation to service and quality of food and beveragesMain Responsibilities:Day to day running of the Food & Beverage OutletsTake control and responsibility for the Waterfront Bar & Brasserie, L’Escale Restaurant, 52 @ The Bay and Room Service.Take every opportunity to maximize revenue.Lead a team of Managers, Assistant Managers, Food & Beverage Supervisors and Food & Beverage Assistants to ensure the highest levels of Customer Care are practiced at all times.To assist and carry out training as required and to document the same.To be responsible for the day to day queries, complaints, and issues that arise in the Bar, Brasserie & Restaurant.To ensure cash/vouchers and all forms of payment are handled in a secure and responsible manner.To deal with all complaints in a courteous and efficient manner and inform the senior manager.Attend the weekly Head’s of Department meetingsAssist with recruitment and selection for Food & Beverage outletsAssist Managers with Performance ManagementManagement of Weekly RostersMaintain and audit hygiene levelsMaintain and audit food quality levels with Executive Head ChefTo ensure that reasonable care is taken for the Health and Safety of yourself, other employees, guests and any other persons on the Hotel premises.To report and where possible, take action on incidents of accidents, fire, loss or damage.To carry out all Managerial duties as per the agreed standards. Your normal working week will be 5 days over a 7-day roster.
