Job TitleFinancial Operations and Analytics ManagerSalary€79.086 pa (Other arrangements may apply if coming directly from another civil or public service body)Tenure5-year fixed term contractWork LocationDublinClosing DateMidnight, Wednesday 9th October 2024Role ProfileWe have an exciting opportunity in the Corporate Services Directorate. The Corporate Services Directorate is a diverse and dynamic business support function with a remit across finance, IT, HR, procurement, governance, legal, compliance, inspections, communications, stakeholder relationships and general administration.  Working as part of the Corporate Services team, the Financial Operations and Analytics Manager will have reach and visibility across the whole organisation, gathering, analysing, and understanding financial and non-financial data, inputting into business and programme decisions.  The successful candidate will work closely with Programme Managers and cross-functional teams organisation-wide, providing insights into financial assessments, reviewing current scheme performance, identifying trends and issues in relation to grant claims, forecasting, scenario planning and monitoring business efficiency performance metrics.  Critical reviews and customer centric continuous improvements of all governance and operational processes are required to ensure that the organisation adapts to growth and changing needs.  Reporting to the Head of Finance, this position will play a key role in such reviews and in ensuring funds are disbursed in line with strong governance and financial controls. As Financial Operations & Analytics Manager the person appointed will also provide project support to the overall work programmes of Corporate Services. Essential RequirementsA degree (a Level 7 on the NFQ or greater) or equivalent professional qualification in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.Fully qualified accountant with membership of a prescribed accountancy body (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA) in Accountancy.A minimum of five years’ post qualification experience. Experience working as part of a Finance function in a relevant industry or similar environment including:Experience working with and ensuring compliance with financial controls and procedures.Experience of managing a team and staff development.Proven experience in delivering programmes analysis.Experience in managing projects involving a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders. Strong systems experience including:Experience building and managing strong internal controls and governance.Desirable RequirementsKnowledge of Integra / Centros Financial System.Knowledge/ Experience of working in the Public Sector.Knowledge of BI reporting and data analytics.Experience of change management.Excellent team-player skills and flexibility.Eligibility to WorkThe SEAI has a legal obligation to ensure that all employees are lawfully entitled to work in Ireland.
