Financial Business Partner

Tony Gee and Partners is seeking a Financial Business Partner to join the Finance team based in our Esher, Birmingham, Manchester or Glasgow office. The Financial Business Partner will report to the Financial Controller and will be responsible for working with key personnel within the group as their financial partner and main point of contact. The successful candidate will be exposed to all aspects of finance in a growing organisation. This position brings an exciting opportunity to be part of positive change as the team continues to develop. Key ResponsibilitiesProviding accurate and timely management information to the businessProactively contributing to the identification, development and implementation of system efficiency improvements.Perform in-depth analysis of business performance (costs, revenue, and margin)Supporting the preparation of schedules and providing information and explanations as part of the auditor’s fieldwork.Supervise and mentor relevant members of the Finance Team. Essential         Experience in preparation of management accountsStrong technical accounting knowledgeHighly organised, demonstrating the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and deadlinesEffective communication skills, able to articulate financial information to non-finance specialistsFocus on continuous improvement of systems, process and analysisStrong problem-solving skillsDesirable        Worked in a project-based businessWorked in a growing organisationSystem change experience QualificationsQualified Accountant - ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent Why Work for Tony Gee?We are an engineering consultancy renowned for delivering complex and innovative design solutions to the global construction industry.
