Start your path to a WGNSTAR career today!   The Purpose of the Role As a Field Service Test Technician, you will perform daily maintenance tasks in a semiconductor cleanroom environment while supporting the Customer in key areas through fault finding and diagnosis principles throughout the manufacturing process. Your goal will be to adhere to facility standard operating procedures with a focus on safety and quality. Your success will contribute to the facilities' overall throughput while simultaneously developing your own skills in a coveted and highly technical industry. Person Specification You are electrical and mechanically minded You are fully flexible to travel internationally for extended periods of time while on assignment A strong team player with ability to work well within a diverse team Have excellent organisational, time keeping, and communication skills Ability to adapt to different tasks and to prioritise activities You are looking for a new challenge and to develop your career  Work Schedule 8-hour shifts (day & night including weekends) Principal Duties and Responsibilities Detection and troubleshoot of electrical/mechanical/pneumatic faults, implementing all test procedures that ensure the expected functionality and performance of the plant Perform electrical controls using a variety of hand and power tools, multimeter, amp meter etc. Read and interpret engineering specifications, electrical schematics, manufacturing manuals, and mechanic drawings Inspect parts for proper machining finish and dimensions; check sub-assemblies and units installation and wiring connections Capability in positioning sub-assemblies, units, and separates components and integrate their operations; perform fittings calibrations, setups Scheduled preventative and un-scheduled corrective maintenance of Semiconductor manufacturing equipment Acceptance testing and commissioning Ability to work on electrical and mechanical sub-assemblies and systems Accurate reporting of failure mechanisms of equipment and systems whilst following detailed work-based instructions and procedures Maintaining cleanroom and company protocols Ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained Performing quality checks in line with process specifications Using MS Office and in-house computer system as required  Role Requirements A diploma in Engineering and/or Mechatronics (industry experience will be considered) International travel required for assignments for extended periods of time You possess a clean passport driving license Have a minimum of 3 years performing electrical troubleshooting and testing on equipment Ability to perform highly diversified duties to maintain production machines and equipment Have experience using a variety of hand tools, power tools, electric meters in performing duties Experience in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair highly desirable Adherence to maintenance specifications and best practices Must be able to read and interpret technical manuals and documents Knowledge of root cause analysis methodology and continuous improvement programs highly desirable Good working knowledge of Microsoft office Ability to handle metal parts safely and effectively Ability to work in a controlled cleanroom environment, which will involve the wearing of a gown and relevant personal protective equipment High degree of problem-solving and extreme care, skilled workmanship, and accuracy are required to strictly meet inspection, testing and operating specifications 100% compliance with all safety and protocol specs and regulations  Physical Requirements Have strong physical stamina to have the ability to stand, stoop, walk and reach for the duration of an 8-hour shift (breaks excluded)  Benefits of Working with WGNSTAR Discounted rates of on-site facilities  Free on-site car parking Reward & Recognition Programme Employee Assistance Programme Learning and development Opportunities for career progression  This job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the job and the general nature and level of work performed by job holders within this job.
