(Trainee) Field Service Area Controller/ Scheduler/ Dispatcher

Through seven key business lines, we are firmly established as one of the largest suppliers of forecourt equipment and custom signage, electrical installations and new energy solutions.This role is also available as a trainee opportunity for applicants who do not have all of the essential skills highlighted below and full training will be provided.Salary range indicated is for trainee entry level up to final salary upon completion of probationary period and will be discussed at interviewPrincipal Objectives of the Role:Successfully control and co-ordinate interventions (jobs/ site visits) for approximately 20-30 field-based engineers. Management of engineers' jobs until successful conclusion for customers.Provide and progress customer quotations for chargeable works outside of normal contracts. Key Responsibilities:Call Handling (to receive and log onto company system all service calls)Controlling and co-ordinating of daily workloads for field technicians to ensure maximum efficiency and utilisation of resources while maintaining successful service level agreements (sla's) and customer satisfaction.Updating customer information portalsAssist in the completion of daily/weekly and monthly reportsDaily administration as directed by your supervisor  Log and, where applicable, deal with customer queries and complaintsSkills & Abilities Required (Essential):Previous experience in a customer service roleExcellent communication skills (particularly verbal)Good organisational & time management skillsProven ability to multitaskSuccessful working as part of a team  Good understanding of Microsoft packages i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word.Flexible working when required Skills & Abilities Required (Desirable):Good understanding of IT and software packagesWorking in collaboration with field-based staffAble to problem solve and use your initiativeHealth & SafetyAs per Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, Employee’s must alsoTake care of their own health and safety and that of others.Co-operate with their employers.Not interfere with anything provided in the interest of health and safety.
