Field Service Area Controller (Dispatcher) or Trainee

TSG are currently recruiting for a Field Service Area Controller (Dispatch Agent), to be based from our Head Office at Longforgan/ Dundee:TSG UK provides a comprehensive range of solutions to our customers in the energy retail, commercial fleet and transport industries across the UK. Our customers benefit from full turnkey solutions, encompassing design, construction, product supply, installation, project management, service and maintenance. Through seven key business lines, we are firmly established as one of the largest suppliers of forecourt equipment and custom signage, electrical installations and new energy solutions.Trainee position will be paid at a slightly lower salary than stated salary on advert, but candidate would be expected to progress to full position pending training.Please note this role does not qualify for sponsorship or relocation funding.Principal Objectives:Successfully control and co-ordinate interventions (site visits) for approximately 20-30 field-based engineers. Management of interventions until successful conclusion for customers.Provide and progress customer quotations for chargeable works outside of normal contracts. Key Responsibilities:Call Handling (to receive and log into Database all service calls)Controlling and coordinating of daily workloads for field technicians to ensure maximum efficiency and utilisation of resources while maintaining successful service level agreements and customer satisfaction.Updating customer databasesCompletion of daily/weekly and monthly reportsDaily administration as directed by Call Handler & Area Dispatch Supervisor  Log and, where applicable, deal with customer queries and complaintsSkills & Abilities Required (Essential):Previous experience in a customer service roleExcellent communication skillsGood organisational & time management skillsProven ability to multitaskSuccessful working as part of a team  Good understanding of Microsoft packages i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word.Flexible working when required Skills & Abilities Required (Desirable): Good understanding of IT and software packages Reasons to join us:Competitive SalaryFree ParkingHealth Benefits PackageLife AssuranceHybrid working can be discussed as an option upon completion of training and proof of competencyA bonus scheme is in place which is based on performance related objectives As per Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, Employee’s must alsoTake care of their own health and safety and that of othersCo-operate with their employersNot interfere with anything provided in the interest of health and safetyDiversity, Equity and Inclusion; our commitment to DEI: TSG UK is an equal opportunity employer.
