Short term contract with the potential to extend.Reporting to: Team Lead / Survey SupervisorRoles and Responsibilities: The key responsibilities for the successful candidate will include:Adhere to Client specific procedures and specificationCarry out dynamic risk assessments on site prior to work commencing and report any visible hazards or defects from site by way of a “red flag” early warning systemImplement control measures as required to enable the survey to be completed in a safe mannerValidate the Pre-Liminary Detailed Design and note any issues or special engineering difficulties (SEDs)Accurately record all existing site information and propose the most practical & cost-effective solution based on client specification and any known constraintsAct responsibly when attending any survey and protect the interests of both 4Site and the Customer alwaysBe professional, safety conscious and conscientious at all times both on and off site.Liaise with all those involved on site at survey including local authority representatives, land owners, council officials and any other 3rd partyFamiliar with data collection devices and methods using ipads or similar PDAsLiaise with and update the 4site Team Lead and Survey SupervisorsAssist with resolving any queries to enable design to progress as quickly as possibleComply with company policies/procedures without exceptionAdhere to mandatory Health & Safety legislation without exceptionAdvantageous experience but not essential: Underground; jointing, rodding/roping experience useful but not essentialOverhead; experience of poling, providing connections to customers houses as well as maintaining and surveying existing poles and connections useful but not essentialKnowledge and experience of trenching, ducting, cabling, poling, earthing etc.Fixed line telecoms rollout overhead & underground (Design or Build)Electrical network rollout overhead & underground (Design or Build)PC LiteratePersonal Attributes: Enjoys working outdoorsDetermined and enthusiasticKeen to learn & develop skillsThorough and well organisedStrong team playerGood communicator & IT literateAttention to detailDriven to succeedWilling and able to travel (full clean driving licence valid in Ireland)Salary: Negotiable
