To adopt high level of flexibility to change as the requirement becomes necessaryCarry out ad-hoc janitorial work as requested by the Client or by the Mitie FMReport any issues or problems to the Client facilities.Assist Facilities team onsite.Assist AV Specialist onsite.Respond to Facilities Helpdesk calls.Set up rooms for meetings and rearrange afterwards.Set up spaces required for the events onsiteSupport office relocations moves and office re-layouts.Support PPM activities, Energy, Wastes and Cleaning checks across the siteMaintain open office areas in good orderLiaise with client and stakeholder to optimise quality of service.Comply and be familiar with relevant Health and Safety requirements and ensure that fire, health and safety regulations are adhered to in all parts of the building and car park by inspecting, checking signage and advising on defects.Installing monitors, desks and any other piece of equipment or furniture as required by clientCarry out any reasonable work request made by your line manager which you are deemed competent to do so. About you:2 years' experience in a similar facilities rolePC literate - basic understanding of PC use, email, system information, document updatingKnowledge of MS office packages, Word, Excel, PowerPointAttention to detail & concentration requiredAbility to work on own initiative'Can do Attitude’ReliabilityExcellent communication, interpersonal and organisation skillsThe ability to communicate effectively, both over the telephone and face to face isessentialPlanning and organisational skills are also required as the role requires balancing manydifferent duties and being able to prioritiseAbility to accurately complete tasks assignments & responsibilities in timely mannerExperience of working within a fast-paced office environmentDependable and flexible, able to work independently as well as part of a teamA basic understanding of good health & safety practices     Mitie is an equal opportunity employer This job description is intended to give the post holder an appreciation of the role envisaged for this position and the range of duties undertaken.
