As a Facilities Technician, you will be responsible for the general repairs/maintenance across site.Key Responsibilities Carry out preventative, reactive, and emergency maintenance across site facilities, including building fabric, plumbing, painting, minor electrical works, racking systems, and equipment repairs.Conduct routine inspections, compliance checks, and testing (e.g., fire safety, sprinklers, water hygiene, generator tests) while ensuring full adherence to Health & Safety, Food Safety, and industrial regulations.Coordinate and supervise external contractors, ensuring work meets site standards and regulatory requirements.Support facility projects, including sustainability and carbon reduction initiatives, while maintaining accurate records through CMMS software.Manage spare parts inventory, assemble/install/repair fixtures and equipment, and collaborate with Compliance and Operations to ensure audit readiness.What You’ll NeedRecognised trade qualification (or equivalent) with proven experience in building maintenance, general repairs, and planned preventative maintenance, ideally within a highly regulated industry (food/pharma).Strong knowledge of Quality, Health & Safety, and industrial fire safety regulations, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and computer skills (MS Office), with flexibility, attention to detail, and adaptability to changing priorities.Benefits:·        Staff discount at Keelings Farm Shop and subsidized canteen·        Free On-site parking with access to electric chargers·        Wellness Initiatives such as wellness weekKeelings ValuesPeople MatterTeamworkIntegrityPassion for AchievementInclusion & Diversity StatementIn Keelings we value all perspectives and knowledge that our colleagues bring to our business.
