We are currently recruiting for the role of Night Manager to join our successful team at the Clanree Hotel, a well-established 4-star hotel in Letterkenny.The Successful Candidate:Will have significant prior experience working in a similar role within a hotel environment (experience is essential)Will be professional, highly organised, and possess excellent leadership and customer care skillsWill have strong knowledge of hotel night operations and the ability to manage the hotel independently during night hoursMust be a team player with the ability to lead and motivate staff in a busy environmentWill be computer literate, with experience in hotel systems; knowledge of the Opera Reservations System would be a distinct advantageWill have fluent English and excellent communication skillsWill be capable of handling guest queries and resolving issues efficiently and professionallyWill demonstrate a high level of responsibility, reliability, and attention to detailThe Role:Oversee the full operation of the hotel during the night shift, ensuring all departments run smoothlyAct as the main point of contact for guests, ensuring exceptional service at all timesSupervise and support night team members, including reception and night portersCarry out night audit procedures and ensure all financial transactions are balanced and recorded accuratelyManage late check-ins, early departures, and reservations as requiredEnsure all security procedures and fire safety checks are completed and documentedConduct regular patrols of the hotel and ensure the safety of guests, staff, and propertyHandle guest complaints or issues promptly and effectivelyPrepare reports and communicate relevant information to senior managementAssist with set-up requirements where necessary and support other departments during the night shiftIf you are interested in joining our team and have the relevant experience for this role, we would love to hear from you.Only those with the necessary experience will be contacted for interview.
