MAN Commercial Protection are looking for Events Stewards to work at Wembley Stadium, London. We are leaders in providing specialist event security to high-profile clients and venues, including Wembley Stadium. The Event Steward role requires flexibility as many events may take place in the evenings or at weekends. Successful candidates will be working within our expert team providing event security across the UK and internationally – we expect the best from our Event Stewards as representatives of our company.  As an Event Steward you will be a friendly face at world-class events, providing service with a smile as well as being a high-visibility security presence, tasked with safeguarding stadium teams, large crowds, and some of the world’s biggest stars of music, sports and more. Main Responsibilities:Be a visible, uniformed presence in a busy stadiumAssisting guests at the event and providing excellent customer serviceMonitor crowd safetyMonitor crowd dynamics – escalating any concernsResponding to incidents and emergenciesPerforming bag and body searchesThe ideal candidate must have:A 5-year checkable work historyBe aged 18 or over.Excellent communication skillsA positive attitude and be able to work as part of a teamThis role requires Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ in Spectator Safety – this is advantageous when applying but not essential as we can provide this training.  Our Career Development Plan At MAN Commercial we are passionate about training and helping our people to progress! Successful applicants will be enrolled on their Level 2 Spectator Safety NVQ. This will be funded for you (subject to a clawback agreement should employment end) and support will be given. We expect you to commit to this qualification and complete within 6 months. After 6 months and successful completion of your probationary period and vetting, Event Stewards who have worked a minimum of 50 hours will be eligible to access SIA Door Supervisor training.Becoming a trained SIA Door Supervisor will open doors to more work opportunities within the security industry. Event Stewards working regularly at Wembley Stadium will be offered reduced-price Door Supervisor training and SIA licence funding, through the MAN Commercial Training Academy. Emergency First Aid at Work training will also be provided.Once a qualified DS licence holder, Event Stewards who have worked a minimum of 100 hours at Wembley Stadium in this role will qualify to further develop their skills by enrolling on their Level 3 Spectator Safety NVQ. Completion of this advanced qualification will unlock the opportunity to take the position of Team Leader at Wembley, running areas, supervising teams and assisting with event planning and briefing.
