The IT Department provides support across all aspects of SEAI operations, with teams focused on a number of areas: IT Project and Business System Programmes (PMO), Enterprise Architecture, Data Governance, IT Operations including IT Helpdesk, IT Governance, IT Change Management, and Cyber and Information Security. This role provides an opportunity for a self-starter to shape standards and governance structures, re-imagine processes and systems and drive innovation in the delivery of customer services. The role offers an opportunity to work in collaboration with senior executives and subject matter experts in delivering digital transformation. Reporting to the Chief Information Officer (COI), the successful candidate will join an enthusiastic and innovative team who are committed to the high-quality delivery of SEAI’s ambitious ICT Strategy and customer centric digital services.Essential RequirementsThe successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:A degree (minimum Level 8 on the NFQ or higher) or an equivalent professional qualification in a discipline relevant to this position, such as Business, Project Management, Business Analysis, or other relevant discipline.A minimum of 5 years directly relevant experience working in transformation management.Significant experience in effective stakeholder management including projects involving a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders with complex interdependencies.Experience in effective planning, and management of budgets and resources. Excellent communication (written and oral) skills, including report writing, presenting, public speaking and the ability to create and communicate a vision and ‘stories’.Good understanding of governance and/or public sector governance.Desirable RequirementsProject Management Certification.Knowledge and expertise of project management tools and techniques.Ability to build valued relationships with customers, stakeholders, and colleagues to assist in delivery of continuous improvement in IT service delivery. Ability to work cross-functionally to solve issues creatively and constructively.Familiarity with business processes and systems and journey mapping. Data extraction and analytical skills.
