Job Title: Small Works ElectricianLocation: London & Surrey (occasional travel to Kent)Salary: Competitive + BenefitsJob Type: Fulltime permanentStart Date: ASAP upon successful completion of clearance documentationCompany DescriptionBJF Group is a leading multidiscipline Main Contractor based across the UK, specialising in delivering high quality construction projects across various sectors priding ourselves of our reputation for excellence and attention to detail.Within our Facilities Management division, the small works team plays a crucial role in the day-to-day delivery of planned minor works across a diverse range of properties and systems within our client's sites.PositionAs part of the FM Small Works team, you will be tasked with a varied variety of jobs, these would range from:EICR's,New small power installationsNew lighting upgradesReplacing distribution boardsReplacing failed emergency light fittingsInstalling new emergency lights to ensure compliance with the relevant BSThe work can range from 1 day to 5 days at a time and you will have the support of your colleagues and our onsite core teams. The role is mobile, covering Surrey & London with rare visits into Kent; you will be provided with a company van and fuel card and any specialist tools when required.RequirementsTo be considered for the role, you will need to hold the following qualifications:Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installation (2357)Testing & Inspection (2391) or equivalent18th Edition Full Classroom Course & IET Wiring Regulations (7671)Full UK Driving LicenseDesirable Qualifications & Experience:Basic IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and WordJIB Gold CardIPAFPASMA
