Company DescriptionBJF Group is a leading multi-discipline Main Contractor based across the UK, specialising in delivering high-quality construction projects across various sectors - priding ourselves on our reputation for excellence and attention to detail.As we continue to grow, we are seeking experienced Electricians to join our Project Services and help deliver a number of creative refurbishment projects in some of the UK's most iconic buildings.We pride ourselves on nurturing talent and fostering an environment where everyone has the opportunity to thrive - if you have ambitions to play a key part in driving our business forwards, then we want you to join us at an exciting time of development and growth to realise your full potential.PositionAs an Electrician within our Project Services team, you can expect the day-to-day responsibilities of the role to form a mix of the following:Complete electrical installations in line with the high standards maintained by BJF GroupInstall electrical systems to 18th edition wiring regulationsUtilise electrical knowledge to troubleshoot and diagnose issues on siteProvide professional assessments to the project managers and clientsPass on skills and experience to further the development of BJF Group apprenticesResponsible for the verification and testing (where applicable) including NICEIC testing and certificationUnderstand your responsibility for the health, safety and wellbeing of your team and the wider group, whilst promoting a positive health and safety culture throughoutPreparation & submittal of H&S documentation (toolbox talks, vehicle checks and other audits)RequirementsExperience of project installation worksRepairs following a Periodic Electrical Installation Condition Report.
