About the Role:EPS Group has an immediate vacancy for an Electrical Project Manager to join our Contracts Team based in the western region. EPS Group are a complete end to end solutions provider involved in the design, build, operation and maintenance of water and wastewater assets and infrastructure in the municipal (Local authority), Industrial (Food and Beverage/Dairy/Pharmaceutical) markets. This role would suit qualified and experienced electricians who are ambitious for career development into Project Management. Reporting direct to the Contracts Manager the main duties and responsibilities being as follows:Key Responsibilities:Responsible for supervision and management of electrical upgrade works on a wide range of installations in the west and northwest regionsManage the upgrade and or replacement of Motor Control Centres and associated electrical installations on various wastewater and water treatment sitesEnsure installation works are carried out to latest electrical ETCI regulationsManage site crews to ensure work is planned, coordinated, and implemented in a safe and efficient mannerProcure parts and materials in line with agreed budgets as required for various works, development of material lists and bill of quantitiesPreparation of safety plans and step by step procedures in advance of works taking placeCoordinate works with all stakeholders, client, plant operators and site crewsCarry out site assessments and document work required to upgrade assets to current regulationsSupport the design team with development of P&ID’s, motor and instrument lists and functional design specifications as requiredReviewing Motor Control Centre Schematics and Control & Automation requirements as requiredReview of final commissioning sheets and verification that electrical installation and commissioning meets project requirements and industry standardsSupporting site crews with investigation and resolving of onsite faults, developing solutions to address customer specific electrical requirementsKey Competencies and Skills:Qualified Electrician with experience in electrical standards and testing requirementsTechnical knowledge and experience of 3 phase industrial installations, specifically including 3 phase motors , starters, control panels, and associated instrumentationFamiliar with up-to-date general services regulationsStrong technical knowledge of requirements RECI certification- Cert 1, 2 and 3 Ability to lead and take responsibility for getting projects complete – start to finishQualifications:Qualified Electrician desirableFull clean driving licenceCompensation Package:Competitive salary and benefits packageOpportunities for professional development and career growthCPD accredited employerA collaborative and supportive work environmentLaptop or desktop and work mobile phone providedFlexible working options, dependent on location and role requirementsSee company website for more information on the benefits of working in EPS Group We welcome speculative applications from individuals of all levels.If you are interested in working with us but are not sure if the role above is for you, please feel free to get in touch for an informal discussion about what we do and what you could bring to the team.
