Our team is seeking a motivated and hardworking individual who wishes to serve a full four-year Solas Electrical Apprenticeship. This is an excellent opportunity to start a rewarding career in Electrical engineering maintenance, gaining hands-on experience while working in a modern, fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Install, commission, test, and maintain electrical wiring systems and services; electrical plant and control equipment; process monitoring and control systemsPerform general electrical installation & repairs.Interpret technical drawings and specifications Plan and organise the installation of electrical systems involved in Newspaper production.Assist in the routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems involved in the newspaper production facility.Work closely with experienced technicians to perform routine checks and troubleshoot machinery issues.Follow safety protocols and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment.Participate in training sessions and on-the-job learning to develop skills and knowledge in Electrical engineering maintenance.Qualifications:Preferably educated to Leaving Certificate standard.
