Are you looking to kickstart your career with a growing and dynamic engineering company?Rockwell are hiring an Electrical and Instrumentation Apprentice to join our team in Longford.About the RoleReporting to the Electrical Project Director, you will work on and contribute to our key projects.As an Electrical and Instrumentation Apprentice, you will work under the guidance and supervision of experienced Electricians and Instrumentation technicians to learn and develop the skills necessary for a successful career in the electrical and instrumentation trade.Duties & Responsibilities:Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures.Gain hands-on experience while adhering to safe systems of work and industry regulatory standards.Perform electrical installations under supervision, ensuring compliance with safety procedures and quality standards.Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to the highest standard.Commissioning & testing support and learningMaintain a clean and organised work environment.Installing equipmentField wiring & panel terminations.Maintain a safety standards and adhering to site rules at all timesRequirements:Minimum of five passes at leaving certificate level (must include Mathematics and English)Successfully pass the Ishihara Colour Vision TestValid Safe Pass/Manual Handling certificateNo experience necessary but have a keen interest in engineering, electrical systemsWillingness to commute around the Midlands region.Why join Rockwell?We provide a competitive salary that reflects your experience and qualifications.
