The department engages, empowers, and enables citizens, communities, and businesses on their decarbonisation journey. The citizen/customer is firmly at the heart of all activity across the department Electric Vehicles and MobilitySEAI are supporting the decarbonisation of the Irish transport sector with grants and consumer education on electric vehicles. Supporting sustainable and shared mobility is the next step in this transition.  Reporting to the Programme Manager – Electric Vehicles and Demand Generation, this position will play a key role in the Mobility and Smart Networks Department.  The successful candidate will join an enthusiastic and innovative team who are committed to the high-quality delivery of SEAI’s objectives, goals and valuesEssential RequirementsThe successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:A degree (a minimum of NFQ Level 7 or greater) in a relevant discipline such as Business, Science, Engineering or Communications.Minimum of three years’ directly relevant experience working in this or a related sector or in a similar role.Experience building and maintaining effective working relationships internal and external stakeholders.Excellent communication (written and oral) skills, including report writing, presenting and public speaking, with an ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical audiences.Well-developed IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).Desirable RequirementsAn understanding of the motor industry, in particular the vehicle sector.An understanding of sustainable mobility.Experience in promotional activities.Experience of using Power BI and developing reports and programme dashboards.Knowledge of public procurement. Experience of public information and awareness campaigns.A qualification in Project Management.Good awareness of climate change and sustainability.Eligibility to WorkThe SEAI has a legal obligation to ensure that all employees are lawfully entitled to work in Ireland.
