We are currently recruiting for a Health and Safety Officer to join our team for a position based across our sites in Leinster. It is envisaged that the successful applicant will take on a lead role in our safety department, making their area their own. Under the tutorship of our senior team and Health and Safety Lead, you will take on the following tasks: Attend Client meetings and represent the company at external meetingsLiaise with external bodies (ISO, HSA, Safe Electric, National Training Bodies)Develop and maintain a training matrix for your project, ensuring compliance at all time with booking, attendance and tracking of dataChampion our Wellbeing, Mental Health and Environmental policiesCarry out audits, briefings, presentations and TBTs with our highly experienced crewsMaintain our site H&S Management System to a high standardCarry out Near Miss investigationsPromote our SOR ProgrammeCompile and present monthly and yearly KPI reportsCollaborate with our MC partners to ensure we continue to deliver the highest possible standards in Health & SafetyLead by example in areas of Covid-19 Management, PPE compliance and attitudeLearn about, be aware of and implement new Health and Safety strategies, in particular, in relation to Heuristics, cognitive bias and people safety.All other duties associated with this role. Key Requirements Proficient use of English language both oral and writtenLevel 7 NEBOSH Certificate/Diploma or EquivalentWillingness to travelOpen to new ideas and passionate about Health and SafetyStrong working knowledge of Microsoft suite of softwareAbility to manage and prioritise workload1/2 years experience in Construction is desirable
