This role requires strong analytical, creative, and organizational skills, with a focus on adapting merchandising strategies for both owned and external platforms.Key Responsibilities:Monitor and update inventory levels, pricing, and promotions across all channels, coordinating cross functionally to prevent stockouts or overselling.Curate and manage product listings for CarrollsIrishGifts.com, Amazon, and other marketplaces, ensuring brand consistency and compliance with each platform’s requirements.Work closely with buyers, marketing, and creative teams to coordinate new product launches, promotional calendars, and content updates for all channels.Set up and maintain Amazon Seller Central and other marketplace accounts, ensuring all business, tax, and compliance information is up to date.Optimize titles, bullet points, product descriptions, and images for Amazon, adhering to character limits, keyword best practices, and Amazon’s SEO guidelines.Track and analyse sales, conversion rates, and other KPIs across own website and marketplaces, providing actionable insights to improve performance.Liaise with external partners, digital agencies, and marketplace support teams to resolve issues and implement best practices.Required Skills and Experience:Proficiency with ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify), inventory management, and analytics tools.2+ years’ experience in ecommerce merchandising, with direct experience managing Amazon and other marketplaces.Strong knowledge of Amazon Seller Central, listing optimization, and marketplace compliance requirements.Excellent copywriting skills for product titles, bullet points, and descriptions tailored to marketplace SEO.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple product categories and channels simultaneously.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, or related field preferred.Preferred Qualifications:Commercially driven, results-oriented, and passionate about Irish products and heritage.Adaptable and proactive, with a continuous improvement mindset.Strong communicator and collaborator, able to work cross-functionally and with external partners.Key Performance Indicators:Sales conversion rate (website and marketplaces)Average order value (AOV)Shopping cart abandonment rateAdd-to-cart rateRevenue and margin by product/categoryProduct listing quality and compliance Customer retention and repeat purchase rateBuy Box win rate (Amazon)Return/refund rateClick-through rate (CTR) on featured products and campaigns
