Role: E-commerce Executive Location: Hybrid (Cork or Dublin) Contract: Fixed Term, 12-month contract Benefits: Competitive Salary, Pension, Sick Pay, Employee Discount. About the Role: Kilkenny Design, who operate a domestic and number of international eCommerce websites, have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious eCommerce Executive to join a fast-paced company. This is a hands-on role with plenty of scope to make your mark on a portfolio of high traffic ecommerce websites. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in eCommerce Trading, Product, Merchandising, Search Bar Optimization, Data/Analytics, SEO and CRO, plus a genuine interest in online selling. Working with our team, and various teams across the business, the eCommerce Executive will play a significant role in driving sales and conversion, by creating a best in-class customer experience on site Key Responsibilities: Maintain and optimise a portfolio of eCommerce websites, both domestic and international taking ownership of the commercial performance of allocated websites/departments.Launch and optimize products ensuring product detail pages deliver a premium customer experience. Merchandise product listing pages to ensure high performance against KPIs such as revenue, conversion rate, margin, and sell-throughDevelop merchandising plans based on customer insights, brand strategy, eCommerce goals and initiatives to achieve substantial uplift in revenue, site conversion and average order size, improve user experience and enhance product discovery and content.Create category landing pages to deliver a premium shopping experience whilst also removing friction and shortcutting key customer journeys.Plan and launch sale and other events collaborating with marketing, buying and dispatch teams.Constantly monitor site search and navigation on the site, making sure that it is fully optimised and make suggestions and implement these to improve the customer journey, whilst understanding the commercial impact of these changes.Work with our SEO agency partner to implement SEO enhancements to generate quality organic traffic.Create engaging landing pages and optimise the content for SEO, PPC and social.Engage with our customer base using customer research alongside analytics data to initiate A/B and multivariate tests to drive CRO.Explore opportunities to maximise eCommerce revenue, via on-site initiatives (e.g. boost ancillary sales) and off-site initiatives (e.g. partnerships).Evaluate Google Analytics and all other relevant data to present insight and action regarding website performance. Use this data to optimise customer journeys and to drive better performance.
