When you’re on shift you hold the reins! You will have the accountability for planning, organising and directing all day to day centre activities and ensuring that the needs of our members are being met and exceeded. Your mission:o     Behave as a role model for everyoneo     Display a commitment to our vision, purpose and valueso     Maintain a high standard of customer serviceo     Open and/ or close the centreo     Supervise and co-ordinate staff, and ensure that everything gets doneo     Ensure the presentation & cleanliness of the centre is fantastic at all timeso     Report and log any maintenance issues and liaise with Operations Manager to rectifyo     Ensure the facility is safe and secure and all the required check lists and logbooks are fully completeo     Maintain the highest standards of health and safety at all timeso     Act immediately and appropriately to secure safety of customers in the event of an emergency o     Be a mentor to the team and ensure that they receive regular performance feedbacko     Participate in our Aspire Programme – our award-winning talent development programmeo     Update other Duty Managers and Operations Manager regarding the day-to-day running of the centreo     Be an Aura ambassador and represent the company with a professional approach and attitudeo     Cover Lifeguards when they are on a break - be a HERO, save lives for a living!Here’s what we need from you: o     You must have previous experience in a leadership roleo     R.L.S.S Pool Lifeguard or I.W.S Pool Lifeguard Qualificationo     The ability to delegate work, follow up results and provide feedback, coach and develop the teamo     The ability to effectively communicate company objectives and information to the teamo     You must be able to prioritise multiple tasks based on the needs of our businesso     Knowledge of the leisure industry is a distinct advantage but not essentialo     A positive, results oriented and driven attitude and a willingness to learn and improveo     Swim Teacher and Pool Plant qualifications are an advantageo     Strong IT Skills (Microsoft excel and Word)o     Commercial awarenessWhy join the Aura Family?We are the best in our industry!
