Door Security (Door Person) – The Warehouse Bar & KitchenThe Warehouse Bar & Kitchen is currently recruiting an experienced and professional Door Security Officer to join our team. This role will involve a mixture of weekday and weekend shifts in a fast-paced, high-volume venue.We are seeking a confident, customer-focused individual who holds the appropriate Irish security licensing and enjoys working as part of a dynamic hospitality team.Key ResponsibilitiesControl and monitor entry to the premises in line with venue policy and licensing regulationsManage queues and crowd control in a calm and professional mannerPatrol both inside and outside the venue to ensure a safe environmentMonitor customer behaviour and proactively manage potential conflictIntervene physically and escort patrons from the premises when necessary, using reasonable and proportionate force in accordance with PSA guidelinesRespond appropriately to emergencies and incidentsLiaise and cooperate with An Garda Síochána, emergency services, first aiders, and venue managementProvide a high standard of customer service while maintaining safety and complianceEssential RequirementsValid PSA (Private Security Authority) Door Supervisor Licence – mandatoryPrevious experience working as a Door Supervisor in a licensed premisesStrong knowledge of Irish licensing laws and venue compliance requirementsExcellent conflict management and communication skillsProfessional, calm, and approachable mannerFluent spoken EnglishExcellent timekeeping and reliabilityAbility to work flexible hours, including late nights, weekends, and public holidaysLegal right to work in IrelandDesirable (Not Essential)Current Occupational First Aid certificationPrevious experience in a high-volume bar or late-night venueBartending or F&B experiencePersonal AttributesStrong customer service focusTeam player with the ability to multitaskHigh level of attention to detailAbility to remain composed under pressureProfessional presentation and positive attitudeIf you meet the above criteria and are interested in joining our team, we would love to hear from you.Please note: Only candidates who meet the required criteria, including valid PSA licensing, will be contacted for interview.
