Digital Designer - Support Office

Carrolls Irish Gifts was certified as a Great Place to Work in 2025!This role is on-site, based in our support office located in Fonthill Business Park, Dublin 22. As Digital Designer, you will combine your creative flair for design with a strong understanding of content marketing principles. You will create engaging visual assets to support our creative, brand & marketing campaigns, ensuring our message resonates with target audiences. This role bridges design and storytelling, making it ideal for a creative professional passionate about both design and content strategy. What you will be doing:Creative Design:Design digital assets, including social media posts, email campaigns, website graphics, online advertisements, video editing and copyCreate visually engaging infographics and presentation templates to enhance Creative & Brand effortsDevelop cohesive visual identities for online marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand guidelinesContent Design:Collaborate with social media executive, other designers & eCommerce team to design assets that enhance storytelling and drive engagementDesign dynamic visuals for blog posts, emails, website and social channelsSupport the production of multimedia content, including videos, animations, and interactive assetsCampaign Support:Partner with the Creative & Brand Manager and other stakeholders to develop visually impactful assets for product launches and promotional campaignsMonitor and iterate on designs based on campaign performance data and user feedbackBrand Development:Ensure brand consistency across all content and design outputsContribute to evolving the brand’s visual identity, bringing a fresh and innovative perspective The "must haves":A degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications or similar4+ years of experience in digital design or a similar role within a fast paced retail environmentA strong portfolio showcasing design work for digital campaigns, including socials, website and mailersProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects)Experience creating graphics optimised for web and social media platformsMotion design or video editing skills (e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro)Basic understanding of UX/UI principles for web and mobile design The "desirables":Familiarity with content management systems (e.g.: Clickup)Experience with ShopifyExperience with email marketing platformsKnowledge of content marketing strategies, including SEO and audience engagement best practicesWhat we offer:A Culture That Puts You First: Our Great Place to Work certification is a testament to our supportive and friendly environment, where talented colleagues thrive.
