Tony Gee and Partners is currently recruiting for a Civil / Structural Design Engineer is required to join Tony Gee's growing team in St Albans, Hertfordshire. This role is an opportunity to join an established team on the cusp of growth with great career and professional development opportunities and support.Job summaryWe are looking for candidates with an eye for detail with flexibility to work across projects in the rail, highways and power & energy sectors.Reporting directly to a Senior/ Principal EngineerDeliver projects to deadlines and budgetManage production of CAD models and drawings for projects.EssentialYou will ideally be experienced in design and build or assessment projects, reinforced concrete and/or steel structures.Experienced in structural design for infrastructure projects, having worked in multi-disciplinary teams to modern CAD standards.Conversant with EurocodesProgressing to professional qualification with either the Institution of Civil Engineers or Institution of Structural Engineers.DesirableExperience with structural analysis software such as LUSAS or MIDASExperience in applying sector specific standards, e.g., Network Rail standards, DMRBExperience in Temporary Works DesignRequired QualificationsMEng Civil Engineering or equivalent degreeWhy Work for Tony Gee?We are an engineering consultancy renowned for delivering complex and innovative design solutions to the global construction industry.
