We are looking for Dayshift Cleaner to join our hygiene team to ensure that the production areas, amenities and outside areas are cleaned in accordance with company operating practices and schedules in order to maintain a food safe environment for the production of company products during the daily production schedule.We have full time, permanent vacancies available with immediate start dates.Working hours: Monday to Friday 6.00am start until 14.30pm finish, 40 hours per week. BENEFITSCompleted development project worth over £20 millionFree Car ParkingCompetitive annual leave entitlementEmployee Assistance ProgrammeLife Assurance SchemeDiscounted Meat SalesSubsidised canteenLoyalty Reward SchemeEmployee of the month awards Main Duties and Responsibilities: Follow Standard Operating Procedures for completion of hygiene task on a daily basisTo clean the changing and amenities areas on an ongoing daily basis according to the cleaning schedulesTo issue out the relevant overalls to staff by restocking the laundry lockers and collecting the soiled garments for collection.To ensure that chemicals are used safely and correctly according to manufacturer instructions and recommendations.To work as a team with other dayshift cleaners to ensure the factory is clean and tidy throughout the day.To ensure all equipment is used and stored correctly.To ensure any cleaning is undertaken safely, with regards to chemicals, protective clothing or high level work.To comply with departmental procedures in a correct and safe manner at all timesTo comply with company rules and statutory regulations at all timesTo comply with company policy on all matters concerning health & safety and hygiene at all timesTo identify training needs and opportunities and bring them to the attention of the Cleaning Department Supervisor.Any other reasonable duties may be assigned as deemed necessaryKnowledge and Experience Experience in a fast paced working environment Experience in a similar role Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to use initiative Knowledge of chemicals and machinery which is used in the clean down process Understanding of Environmental requirements and responsibilities
