Data Manager (Grade V)Full Time, Temporary RoleThe Data Manager will support the data management requirements of the National Cancer Control Program (NCCP).Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Manage all aspects of data management activities, related to NCCP for MUH campus, to inform quality assurance and quality improvements.Work closely with all stakeholders on projects; from data planning, mapping data processes, defining data validation specifications and quality reviews of data for completeness, accuracy, and consistency; providing direction and expertise on data management.Ability to analyse, interpret, and organize large amounts of data.Provide reports from the data co-ordination.Provide training and mentoring to Teams on data management processes and presentation of same.Coordinate data entry and provide quality assurance and validation on all data entry.Generate data queries, track query resolution, and provide data cleaning status updates.Liaise with I.T regarding software maintenance and system administration.Manage data projects; monitor progress to ensure timelines are met.Ensuring that all data management activities are conducted in compliance with data protection legislation liaising with the Data Protection Officer as required.Work closely with the MDT Coordinators office to ensure that the required KPI’s are being accurately captured, reported, and presented and any anomalies are investigated and corrected.Coordinate, collect and report on the National Cancer Control Program data within MUH, ensuring the data is being captured, reported, presented as per guidelines and any anomalies investigated and corrected.Adhere to any relevant hospital or institution policies, SOPs, or guidelines at all times.Support the Healthcare Records Manager/IT in enabling technical solutions to administration processes, e.g. T-Pro and HealthLink.Eligibility Criteria:Relevant undergraduate qualification in data or equivalent.Hold a relevant Administration qualification and have achieved a high level of proficiency in same.Experience of working closely with a range of colleagues in health and academic bodies engaged in data analysis.Good understanding of the clinical audit process.Full Job description available on requestClosing date 1pm on Friday, 2 August 2024.
