Data Centre Security Officer

We have a new and exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our growing Data Centre team in Dublin 15.You don’t need security experience to join the team, if you have previous experience in administration, computers, hospitality, or any trade that involves dealing with people we want to hear from you. Experience outside of security is really valuable to us! At Provincial, we know skills are transferable so if you don’t meet all the qualifications, then don’t worry. We provide full training and will work with you to ensure you are happy in this role.  About the roleYou will be a visible presence in the client building, delivering an excellent customer experience, access control, and much more. This role is part-time or full-time with 12 hour shifts.Duties:To report directly to the Security Supervisor and Employer Management.To ensure the safety and security of all site personnel and their property.To ensure the protection of all client property, premises and equipment.To ensure the prevention of loss caused to the client through whatever cause.To monitor and control access to the facility.To respond as directed to all client requests and alarms, especially in the event of an emergency.To conduct regular patrols of all buildings and exteriors.To immediately report all security, health and safety threats identified during regular patrols.To ensure a detailed knowledge and understanding of all Summary Post Orders and Site Operating Procedures.Qualifications:Basic Guarding Skills FETAC Level 4 CertificateHolder of Valid Private Security Authority Static LicenceDriver's licencePossess advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook and a knowledge of alarm and camera systemsStrong communication skills to enable communication with a wide range of people and in various situationsPossess excellent interpersonal skillsUnderstanding of the Security IndustryWillingness to follow instructions and proceduresSuccessful candidates must be willing to work in a strong customer service-focused environment and will must be willing to adapt to new technologies as they arise.Benefits:Comprehensive Wellness SchemeMaternity top-up paymentExcellent Working Environment as accredited by Excellence Through People & Great Places to Work 2018Training and career progression opportunitiesAll welcome hereProvincial is an equal opportunity employer.
