Data Analyst - Courier/Logistics

Offering a diverse portfolio of flexible delivery, returns, including label-less returns, click & collect, e-commerce, and logistic business solutions, nationwide, and internationally. Fastway are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our courier/logistics team. The primary responsibility of this role is to analyse data to ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) are met and to identify opportunities for process improvement within our operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for optimizing logistics processes through data-driven insights.Responsibilities:Collect, clean, and analyse data related to courier and logistics operations, including but not limited to delivery times, route efficiency, and customer satisfaction metrics.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery rates, delivery accuracy, and transportation to identify trends and areas for improvement.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, customer service, and IT to gather data requirements and implement data-driven solutions.Generate regular reports and dashboards to track performance against KPIs and present findings to stakeholders.Conduct ad-hoc analysis to answer specific business questions and provide actionable insights to management.Identify opportunities for process optimization, and efficiency gains through data analysis.Continuously monitor data quality and integrity, identifying and resolving discrepancies as needed.Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in courier and logistics analytics.Requirements:Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role in the logistics, transportation, or supply chain industry.Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.Ability to communicate complex ideas and findings to non-technical stakeholders effectively.Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent2 days WFH, 3 days onsite in Greenogue, Dublin 24 Benefits:On-site parkingWellness programBike to work SchemePositive Career ProgressionSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridaySalary:€35,000Work authorisation:Ireland (required)
