CREDIT CONTROLLERAs a Senior Credit Controller, you will play a pivotal role in managing high-value, high-volume accounts, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders. You will be instrumental in driving financial performance, supporting audit and compliance, and contributing to continuous improvement across credit control processes.WHAT WILL YOUR DAY-TO-DAY LOOK LIKE?Manage daily banking activities and payment allocations.Perform monthly bank reconciliations.Process direct debit files.Post journals for intercompany transactions and general ledger deductions.Management of large, complex accounts with a focus on high value collections.Ensure timely collection of payments within agreed credit terms and limits.Forecast incoming payments with accuracy to support cash flow planning.Respond to and resolve customer queries promptly through email and customer portals, adhering to agreed SLA timelines.Conduct daily outbound and respond to inbound calls to support prompt payment.Process credit notes in accordance with company policy.Collaborate effectively with the sales and customer support teams to resolve account issues. Participate in regular debtor review meetings with the Commercial Team to address aged balances and outstanding queries. Assess credit risk and set up new customer accounts in line with the company’s credit policy.Monitor EDI transmissions and investigate/resolve invoicing issues as they arise.Prepare and submit monthly reports as required by management.WHAT SKILLS ARE REQUIREDDemonstrated experience in credit control positions, preferably within a fast-paced environment.
