We are now heralded as one of Ireland’s most exciting retail stores, with a host of award-winning cafes, restaurants and food markets crammed with artisanal ingredients from near and far.We are currently recruiting for the roles of Counter Assistant(s), both Full and Part time, in our sunning location in Powerscourt, Enniskerry.Counter AssistantJob DescriptionAs a Counter Assistant, your role is to assist our customers through all stages of their visit to our store and help and support your colleagues and managers to deliver the true Avoca experience to every customer, every time.Roles & Responsibilities·                     Making sure stock is replenished, displays are tidy·                     Develop product knowledge to assist the customer and offer advice·                     Assisting with cycle counts·                     Opening and closing duties as outlined by your line manager·                     Supporting your colleagues across all departments as and when required·                     Setting up workspaces so they are clean and stocked up for the next shift·                     Ad hoc duties as per business requirementsCompetencies ·                     Excellent Customer Service Skills – the ability to go “above and beyond”·                     HACCP trained (this will be provided)·                     Willingness regarding training on different sections is required.
