Copywriter - O'Briens Wine

We are looking for a skilled copywriter and creative thinker, brimming with ideas about acquiring new customers and bringing our brand proposition to life.This is a fantastic role within our Marketing team and will suit an ambitious wordsmith who wants to make their mark in the wine industry. You’ll be perfect for this role if:You have experience in creating work for a range of channels such as digital media, inserts, and printed direct mail.You have a track record of producing creative that resonates with and drives action from key target customers.You have a strong understanding of how copy and design come together to make cohesive and compelling marketing campaigns.You’re performance-minded, drawing inspiration from customer data and insight, as well as marketing and creative trends.You relish working within a fast-paced team and business environment and have the ambition to grow and learn. Key tasks and responsibilities:Produce attention-grabbing and compelling copy for growth channels including digital media, direct mail, and significant partnerships.Develop and protect our tone of voice, and ability to interpret and adhere to brand guidelines.Prioritise and organise creative briefs, delivering work on time and to a high standard.Understand channels, formats, and how to mould creativity to maximise performance.Generate ideas and translate them into winning creative campaigns.Proactively identify opportunities to optimise our new customer journey, and contribute challenger copy and creative to facilitate testing programmes.Help shape design work to produce a cohesive and high-quality creative output. Skills and experience:2 years (minimum) experience as a copywriter, preferably for a consumer-facing brand.Experience with performance marketing channels (desirable)Flawless copywriting.Compelling and fresh writing style - an aversion to generic marketing speakAn understanding of strong design and ambition to develop into a rounded creativeExcellent attention to detail, spelling, and grammar skillsWhile the location of the role can be flexible, the preference is for someone to be based in Ireland. This is to facilitate regular face-to-face interactions in Sandyford, Dublin 2/3 days per week. It’s important to achieve the right balance between face-to-face interactions with virtual working over the long term.
