The purpose of this role is to provide secretarial support for the running of the Beacon Limerick clinic. The running of the clinic will include dealing with telephone enquiries from patients, booking appointments, tests and procedures, getting charts ready for clinics, collecting payment, dictation and any other administrative duties.Consultant SecretaryAnswer incoming telephone callsScheduling appointments, testing and proceduresPreparing charts for clinicsManaging clinic for consultantRegistering patients - ensure that patient signature, processing bill, issuing receipts are carried out according as per policy and procedureCollecting paymentsComplete follow up for all patient related correspondence as necessaryUnderstand the Insurance claim methods and types of cover relevant for procedures in Beacon LimerickReceive visitors, answer general questions and direct individual to the appropriate person. May perform miscellaneous dutiesLiaise with referring physician, staff and patientsSupport wider Patient Services team with desk coverWork well with others, in a collaborative manner.
