Clinical Teams are based throughout the catchment area operating clinics in Tallaght, Rathgar, Dun Laoghaire, Bray, Wicklow town and Arklow.2 x Part-time Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrists Post 1: Lucena Clinic Hub TeamPart-time (18.5 hours per week / 0.5WTE) Permanent contractPost Reference Number: JGCPCP13Role SummaryApplications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the permanent 0.5 WTE post of Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with St John of God Community Mental Health Services, Lucena Clinic CAMHS Hub Team on a Permanent Part-Time basis. This person will work along with the current 0.5 WTE Consultant in post. Post 2: Lucena Clinic Clinical Director backfillPart-time (18.5 hours per week / 0.5WTE) Locum contractPost Reference Number: JGCPCP10Role SummaryApplications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the post of locum Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with St John of God Community Mental Health Services, Lucena Part-Time (0.5 WTE) basis. This post is a backfill for clinical time for the Clinical Director. It will be initially based in Lucena clinic, Team C in Rathgar which delivers the full range of mental health services to a current population of 665,000+. The post may change when/if the Clinical Director post moves to another clinician. The consultant will be a key team member on the same team as the Clinical Director, providing assessment of new referrals, crisis assessment, ongoing outpatient care, medication management, physical health and risk assessment. The consultant will provide leadership and oversight of clinical activities on the community mental health team that they are part of.   Minimum RequirementsMust be on the Specialist Register for Child & Adolescent Psychiatry maintained by the Medical Council in Ireland.Initial locationThe initial location of this role is in Lucena Clinic Rathgar. However, you may be required, from time to time, to work at SJOG CS’s other places of business or/and the premises of such associated s companies or organisations as SJOG CS may require.
