The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, flexible, innovative and committed to providing a quality service that responds to the needs and priorities of our service users.Role SummaryThe Service actively promotes multidisciplinary team working, continuing professional development and innovation in Community Psychiatric Nursing. This includes Nurse prescribing and Advanced Nurse Practitioners roles for those people wishing to advance their education, responsibilities and skills.The CMHN has a pivotal role in the delivery of effective, recovery orientated, high quality, team based, integrated care for individuals with mental health problems. The purpose of the role is also to provide assessment and support to the individual through the delivery of appropriate treatment and recovery orientated interventions to support care in the community working towards reduction in the need for acute hospitalization.Minimum RequirementsRegistered, or are eligible for registration, in the Psychiatric Nurses Division of the Register of Nurses and Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland [NMBI] Have a minimum of 2 years working in CAMHS setting,Have a minimum of 5 years post registration experience.Have successfully completed a post registration programme of study, as certified by the education provider, which verifies that the applicant has achieved a National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) major academic Level 8 or higher award maintained by Quality & Qualifications of Ireland (QQI) or can provide written evidence from the Higher Education Institute that they have achieved the number of ECTS credits equivalent to a Level 8 or higher standard in a health care or management related area. Demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development.  RemunerationSalary Grade 2301 Mental Health Staff Nurse on the Consolidated HSE Pay Scale€59,661 - €75,389 per annum pro rataInitial locationThe initial location of this role is Lucena Clinic, Tallaght. However, you may be required, from time to time, to work at SJOG CS’s other places of business or/and the premises of such associated s companies or organisations as SJOG CS may require.
